Today’s Scripture: 3 John 1-4 (S.O.A.P. 3 John 4)

From the elder, to Gaius my dear brother, whom I love in truth Dear friend, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul. For I rejoiced greatly when the brothers came and testified to your truth, just as you are living according to the truth.

I have no greater joy than this: to hear that my children are living according to the truth.

Nothing more true could be said than a parents joy knowing their child is a child of God and is walking in the truth. I can relate to John and his feelings of joy over this. Whether it’s your child or someone you have prayed over for salvation -there is no greater joy.

I find my greatest joy in helping those in need as it pertains to their mental health. I have dedicated my lift to be on the front lines of those most in need. I find joy in encouraging them and doing my best to meet their needs. I can understand why John found great joy in this because when you are passionate about helping those grow mentally or spiritually it brings a light about what you are doing.
